MARK THORP

We designed connected products for both sides of temporary work: a mobile app for contractors and a business platform for finding people and managing every stage of a job.
Contractors can explore recommended temporary jobs, review the role, pay, location and requirements, then choose the individual shifts that fit their availability.
Before a shift, contractors confirm whether they are on time, running late or can no longer attend. If someone cannot make it, an automatic hiring response first prioritises available contractors who have worked there before, followed by people the employer has favourited.
The business platform brings published shifts, applications, assignments, contractor arrival updates, clock-ins, clock-outs and invoicing into one operational schedule.
Businesses can compare applicants, review ratings and previous work, save reliable contractors as favourites and send offers without leaving the schedule.
The responsive marketing site introduces OMJ to people looking for flexible work and businesses needing staff, then explains the journey from posting or finding a job through to matching and payment.
Contractors can build a profile covering their skills, experience, work eligibility and supporting documents, helping OMJ surface relevant temporary jobs that fit their circumstances.
